HELP! My brother dances and need a self esteem raiser!?

My brother is 8 years old and he does tap jazz and ballet. He's a really great dancecr for his age but he announced today that he wants to quit. It was completely out of the blue so I suspect that it has to do with the fact that some of the boys in his school tease him. If this isn't the reason then I will be completely supportive but I don't want him to give up if it is because he is being made fun of. Any ideas of what I could say to him that would make him reconsider?
