Can unfreezing scotch spoil it?

Read carefully, scotch expert speaking. Depending on the type of scotch you have, here's what you need to do. If it's a blended scotch (Johnny Walker, Chivas, Cutty Sark, etc.), just remove it from the freezer and store as you want it. If it's a single malt (Glenfiddich, McCallan, Oban, etc.) You have to gradually bring it back to room temp. Remove it from the freezer, and put it in your fridge. After 36 hours in there, move it to the coldest room in your house for another 36 hours. After that, you should be fine to store wherever. Single malts, especially expensive ones, are sensitive. The bottle will tell you if it's single malt or blended at the bottom of the label.
