My hubby is arrested 3 degree Cl D domestic Battery Felony?

My husband was arrested on Sunday for 3 degree Cl D Domestic Battery. We fought and he got arrested. I was really the aggressor. I threw him with a bottle and it broke on his head. Then he still walked away and I jumped him. In the process of stopping me he ended up scratching me on the side of my face. When the officers were called, they arrested him and at the time I was really mad at him so proceeded to lie that he had hit me and punched me. I know it's hard not to judge me but ow I know I am wrong. I know I should have not did that. I want to drop the judged but the prosecutor is moving forward with charging him because he had beaten his ex-girlfriend when he was 17. How can I stop this? I want this off his record. How do I fix this? Please help me. He is in school and he has a good job. He takes really good care of me and my sons (which the one is not even his). . . . .Kaisha Smith.
